I am not posting it here because of reconnection mostly tbh.

hehe, well, it doesnt change much anyway. I am talking about SEO value, which you will be left on community. But ofc it's on you to decide that, but just giving you a tip since I know you are not aware of that. You are not growth hacker, you are hacker

Hey Lucas @lsilberberg , welcome to the community. πŸ–

Quick tips on how to make your portfolio better:

          • Change profile picture, put something professional, recognizable. I dont mean u to pose with suit, it can be your personal logo, but something clear, brandable and personal. Current profile pic is almost able to see ur face
          • Focus for a while. Reading your resume, I am not sure if you are frontend developer or UI/UX designer, or CX consultant. Quality over quantity I am not saying u can;t be both developer and designer, but being developer I can see lack of your UI/UX skills. You should be shown as expert in your field, and not average doing lot of stuff a little bit, like many others.
          • Your work need improvements like usability, typography, positioning .. and you make that improvements, by reading some quality resources, articles and following some great designers like @lubos-volkov @louis-moody @fazurrehman and others (sorry guys, cant count you all). They produce very useful content, tips and tricks.
          • Avoid overusing Lorem ipsum text to me looks like lazy designer. It's ok in early prototype, but for showcase design it's not IMO.

Have some more words, but I am so sleepy, and i think you have enough to start working on improvements. Hope this help you some.

          Peace

Hey thank you, I'm going to put those tips into practice for my future work 😁, I'll also try to update some of my "old" jobs πŸ˜†

Hi there! Nice to meet you all, I'm Yasmine from Switzerland πŸ‡¨πŸ‡And I'm brand new here. I just started working (today!) as a Webdesigner for a Swiss communication agency.

After 5 years working in Marketing + Communication, learning front-end development all by myself on the side for nearly 7 years and creating websites in order to pay for my school fees (college is "free" in Switzerland but everything beside it is SO EXPENSIVE), I am thrilled to switch my career path today in order to get in the tech world a little bit more.

As I am brand new as a Webdesigner, would you have any suggestions regarding resources, websites, communities, apps and so on that would constitute a good start for me to continue to grow my skills and immerse myself into the Webdesign+Tech world to the max?

Hi everyone 😊 I was invited to join Vanila because I have just started learning UI design, I would like to help others who are just starting, as well as myself. I'm currently working as a Marketing Assistant, but have always been interested in Graphic Design. I live in Belgrade, Serbia and I have a mixed breed border collie called Zero, after Sub-Zero πŸ˜‚
