I found this article https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/taking-the-right-approach-to-responsive-web-design/ and i am also a desktop-first developer. Just wanted to know what approach the community took and their reasons

Be honestly, I'm desktop first developer 😂. Because it easy for me and i'm comfortable, and according to me i think desktop-first is a good approach. Because these days there are lot of small screen comes in and we have not too much time to watch on each screen sizes also on small screens we need to hide some DIV'S and this is considered as later work.

I agree. I use the desktop first approach as well. I am just use to it. I mostly build web application for desktop, so its just natural to think of the desktop (in my case, main experience) first.
