What are you using for version control and teamwork for a design project?

Surely you do not use google drive and dropbox and name files like,

  • design_for_website_1.psd
  • design_final111.xd
  • layout_final_sam12.ai

There are some cool and expensive version control tools for macOS, like

It's unfortunate all of these shiny solutions are available on mac only.

The only proper solution for windows was Adobe Bridge and Adobe Version Cue. Adobe says you will have a version control with adobe creative cloud for your assets.

Now the question is,

  • What would you use for photoshop, xd and other design files for windows and linux?
  • What is your workflow with your team?
  • Or, Do you even use version control?
