pexels is pretty good. Decent mix of stock photo and more candid style shots. All free.

Sometimes you can check to stock website which offers you weekly freebies like www.shutterstock.com, www.123rf.com. Maybe there are not always awesome but sometimes you can find really good stuff. :)
