Card Actions Menu

Card Actions Menu

The card actions menu has a lot of entries some of which might be unnecessary and others which should be renamed (in English).

The Change ... date menu choices (received, start, due, and end) all seem unnecessary. You can edit these dates by clicking on them in the card. Removing them will remove clutter from the menu.

The Edit members / labels / attachments / custom fields should be shortened by removing Edit. Choose would be a better choice than edit if there must be a verb. The sub-menus titles for these choices do not have Edit (with the exception of custom fields).

Move card to archive could just be Archive

@jrsupplee thanks for your feedback. Wekan indeed need dedicated UX guy, which unfortunately @xet7 is not. He is doing lot of different things with the Wekan, and obviously you can't be good at everything 😁

For sure Wekan need some UX changes, and I agree with the things you mention happening inside the cards. Card action menu looks overwhelming with to many uncesery and repeating options.

Just for the record here is the screenshot: Wekan Overwhelming card menu

I just looked at the new version. I think it looks much better. It is not overwhelming when it pops up. Thanks.

I'm new to the Jade template language, but it seems that the else here is missing an if
