Would you choose Meteor today?

Rust takes huge amount of time to build that binary, and code is so cryptic, I can not figure out Rust.

I do like BaCon Basic https://www.basic-converter.org/ + SQLite + webserver as single executeable and .db file. Writing that code was for very tiny example was nice. But it does not have all the libraries of Meteor etc.

I have looked Haxe a little, but not all required dependencies are there yet.

Gambas Basic is very nice http://gambas.sourceforge.net/ but I have only tried it a little

it's easier to debug than PHP

Lazarus/FreePascal is also nice

Problem is, according to stats at https://www.openhub.net/p/wekan Wekan is combined work of about 13 years of coding

From about 188 contributors

It's like, I don't have 13 years to rewrite Wekan

all the countless of features, bugfixes, security fixes, etc et

etc

Meteor is actively developed framework

was because original author tried to rewrite Wekan, and got tired in trying that

Sure, I am looking at various frameworks. It's just that, moving a mountain is not easy.
